A smoothie I couldn't not share! ❤️

Hey everyone!! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. It was pretty hectic prior Christmas with shopping and making plans etc. I ended up having a Christmas tea with my family a few days before Christmas Day then spending time with my boyfriends family on Christmas Day and going to town that night and staying for a few nights :) Boxing Day was sooo much fun. I got a lot of things for my student flat for next year, I got a blender, mini fridge, dehumidifier basically all the basics lol but saved sooo much! One of my gifts from my boyfriend was a supplement from a brand called fitmiss, check them out on Instagram! The protein powder is sooo yummy, it's chocolate flavoured, high protein, low calorie, you can have it as a snack or meal, after you have it you won't need to eat for hours. Which is perfect for me as sometimes I'm too buzy to eat or just forget about it, then when I do want to eat it's not the healthiest. Next year I'll have it as a snack or a meal on the go in-between classes.
I made a smoothie tonight as part of my dinner and it was amazing that I just had to share :) ❤️

I used everything you see here, if you are looking to be healthier or wanting to lose some of that Christmas weight id give this a go! Go to shotgunsupplements to buy this brand or buy from other health stores online that stock this brand. I love it!

Have a great Christmas and New Years! I'll hopefully do another soon :) thank you for reading this blog post. Leave in the comments below if you have tried these supplements and tell me what you think of them ❤️ Follow me on Instagram to see more healthy snack/meal ideas :)) Enjoy the rest of your day/night :)

Lots of love :)

A Christmas treat idea :) ❤️

Hey everyone! I hope your all having a fun and great day :) I did my Christmas shopping yesterday and worked a bit too hard at the gym so I'm seriously sore today lol so I thought I would have a relaxing day, watching season 8 of Friends and I felt the need to do some baking and I remembered a yummy recipe for apricot balls from my younger years ;) I thought I would post up a few pictures along with the recipe since it's Christmas time and you may want to try it out your self.

Ingredients

~ 100g butter
~ 3/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk
~ 1 cup of coconut
~ punch of salt
~ 1 1/2 cup of chopped up apricots or how many you want to use
~ 1/2 cup of coconut to roll balls in
~ 1x griffins malt biscuits (do this last)

Instructions

~ melt butter in bowl and Crush the malt biscuits while butter is melting. Crush the biscuits to your satisfaction, I left some bits chunky for texture. I put the biscuits on handy kitchen towels and one sheet on top then just used the bottom of a drink bottle to crush the biscuits.
~ add condensed milk to butter and mix together.
~ add salt, coconut, chopped up apricots and mix together.
~ add in biscuits (do this quite fast) make sure all the biscuits are evenly throughout the bowl, so at the bottom there isn't the condensed milk with the biscuits making them soggy.
~  lastly, roll into balls, roll them around in the extra coconut and put on tray then put into fridge to set. Mine where in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

I give this recipe 9.5/10, I wish I had more crunchy bits in it but other then that it was puuuurfect :) this would be a perfect treat for Christmas Day when having guests over or just for your family plus it's pretty simple and so yum!!!

Thank you for reading my blog :) if you do try this recipe let me know in the comments how you get on :) I also have some other baking related posts that I'll put up soon :) enjoy the rest of your day and I'll write again soon xx

Lots of love :)

It's so hot.

Hello everyone!!! It is such a hot day today, it's 23 degrees which may not be hot for some countries but it's really hot in Southland NZ. So I thought it being a hot day that I would make myself a cooling healthy smoothie :)

Ingredient list
~ kale
~ pear
~ lemon or lime
~ grapefruit
~ avocado
~ spinach
~ rocket
~ parsley x2 (they just look different)
~ buttercrunch lettuce
~ water
~ ice

You can either use a blender or a juicer.
For this particular thing I used the blender to keep all the good nutrients in.

And the final product....

The grapefruit and lemon flavor comes through a perfect amount, not too sweet but enough for the smoothie to taste other then green veggies :) you can have ice or not, but the ice keeps it cold and creates a thick texture.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll write again soon. I still have a few blog posts in the making so hopefully they'll be up soon :) Have a great rest of your day/night :) ❤️

Lots of love :)

First attempt at French tip nails xx

Hey everyone, so today has been such a boring and uninteresting day...it's been raining for most of the day and I'm so over study Grrr, so I decided to attempt a French tip and I'm semi happy with it lol.

Here is what I used ⬇️
Nail polish remover is by the brand Health Basics, it's for sensitive nails and has aloe vera in it.
The nail polishes are both new ones, the white is by Revlon #335 called spirit and the nude one is by L'Oreal Paris and is #116 Creamy Angora.
The accessories are from eBay and the makeup bag that I use for my nail polishes is from Farmers and the brand is unknown but they still sell them there.

Here's the outcome ⬇️
There's no filter, just the lighting because it's nighttime and I have my lights on.
I put two coats of the nude nail polish on and just went across as steady as I could untill I had a full line across my nail.
It's not perfect but yeah it'll do lol :)

Hope you enjoyed this wee post! Have a great day or night guys ❤️❤️

Little shopping haul :)

Hey guys, I hope your enjoying your day!! Today I went with my friend Patience to do a lil bit of shopping before study time once again and I just got a few things because it's labour weekend which means SALE. I also picked up a sample of this new Lancôme product so eeeeee can't wait to try that out.
Got this baby for 1$ from 15$ at K-Mart!!!  And yes it's nearly officially summer but I can use it for next year 😜 the colour is more pink then what the photo is showing off. :)

This is a top speed white nail polish by Revlon. It was 20% off so from $19.99 it came down to $15.99. I just love white nails ATM so fresh looking :) it's called Spirit and number is 335

This is a Pandora charm, it was 50% off from $88 to $44, it's sterling silver with CZ diamonds and it's number is 790369CZ. I've been collecting these for about a year and it's my 6th one :)

This flower headband is from Just Jeans and was originally $25 down to $10. I've been wanting one for so long!!!

Here is the free sample of the new Lancôme skin corrector. Looking forward to trying this out:) they still should have these at the Lancôme makeup counters so go check them out :)

Here is my last purchase, I got this discounted at Void and it was $30. I've wanted a skull for ages but they've always been around $50-60 which is way too expensive for a decoration. Plus it's pink so win win lol.

Hope you guys enjoyed my wee shopping haul!!! Hopefully will go out again while the sales are still on and get a few more things. Have a great weekend everyone :) :) :)

Love you all,

Playsuit crazy at Princess Polly ⭐️

Hey beauties!!!

Summertime is here for some countries and the playsuits are ready to come out. At Princess Polly there are beautiful newly added different styles of playsuits and I picked out a few to show you that I really adore. Have a look on the website because there are over 100 playsuits that are just beautiful !! Just click on the headings and it will take you to the playsuit (:

Click here to go to Princess Polly (:
Also if you take there quiz you will get a $10 discount which helps with shipping you you are not from Australia (:

Price: $62.17 NZD
This is one of my favourites. I love the pattern, the flowers and the colours, especially the white. This playsuit is very fresh looking and flowly which is perfect for summer, I really dont like wearing tight fitting playsuits or really anything in the summer because of the heat.

Price: $67.34
This playsuit is aaaamzing, and so cheap on princess polly! I found this same dress on another store for $79.90 NZD. So many things are a lot darer elsewhere - you can see why I love this store. I love the criss cross on the back and the cross over on the front of the playsuit, the pattern is also perfect!!! Great for summer !!

Price: $72.52
I love this playsuit, it has so much going on but works so well altogether. The pattern is amazing and I love how it is shaped at the bottom, middle and top. Because there are so many colours you can add any colour of accessories and shoes to complete this look eg. White shoes and white bangle. Or you could leave it on its own.

Price: $67.34
As the name suggests this playsuit is perfect for the beach!! and of course summer!! Orange is such a great colour on tanned skin but still looks fab on any skin colour  and I really love the design at the bottom of this playsuit, its flowy and easy to wear.

Price: $67.34
Same playsuit, different colour. I just really adore both!! lol I see this as my going out to lunch/shopping playsuit.

Price: $67.34 NZD
Pineapples!!! I swear that every time I see the pineapple print I think of Spongebob lol. This playsuit just screams fun and summer. Its very flattering at the waist as well and is the perfect length.

Brand: Cameo
Price: $165.76 NZD
This playsuit is perfect for going out, going to dinner and lunch. Its amazing and I really like how it brings out your figure. It is on the expensive side but if you can afford it it would be great for summer occasions.

And again, same playsuit, different colour. I just love this playsuit and looks so professional but hot at the same time.

Check out Princess Polly for their latest summer trends, they are incredible !!!!!!!!!
I hope you guys enjoyed this wee review and inspired you to buy something maybe a little different from your usual clothing choice for summer (: or just introduced to you more fab clothing (;
Have a great day and week and ill write to you again very soon!!!! (:

Love you all,

My favourite perfume right now ❤️

~Juicy Couture Viva la juicy La fleur ~

Hey guys! Today was just another day, eat..study..windowshop online..watch tv..sleep.. but everything changed when I went to get bread, eggs and rubbish bin bags... my day changed from dull to incredibly happy!!! My Order from Strawberrynet had arrived!!!! I brought this on the 15th of October and 7 days later it's here!!!! This company always has the best, kind and quick service and 100% great products.

My purchase was a perfume by Juicy Couture. It's called Viva la juicy la fleur and I got it in the largest size ~150ml.
I already have this perfume but in a smaller size ~75ml but on strawberrynet the 150ml was discounted to 55$ NZD THATS INSANE - a good insane. Of course I had to buy it, especially because I have loved this scent since last year and it's my #1. My 75ml that I got was around $140 NZD and to find something double the size and under double the price you can see why I brought it ;)

This perfume is very similar to Juicy Couture's viva la juicy perfume but has an extra florally scent to it. It is a great girly, sweet scent and perfect for summer although I wear it all year round. It's a very fresh scent and I spray it on my clothes to make the scent last longer, which it does. Like many perfumes this scent does fade away after around 2 hours. It's so amazing though that I usually take it with me if I am out and spray again after it has faded away. The reason that this perfume fades is because it's a Eau de toilette spray, this type of perfume contains a higher percentage of water which makes the perfume less strong. Whereas if you purchase the perfume in Eau de parfum, this type of perfume is a lot more concentrated and has a higher percentage in oil causing it to last longer, you will find that the Eau de parfum is more expensive. La fluer isn't sold as a Eau de parfum but the very, very similar scent viva la juicy is.

If you have never smelt this perfume before I highly recommend you do because it is what I believe as a the most beautiful scent for young women. It's pretty, sweet and I have had many compliments on my perfume. If you are worried about it lasting long try some on from a shop and see how it goes for you as it is different for everyone.

I recommended la fleur to 3 of my friends and they all purchased the 150 ml from strawberrynet and they love the smell.

I also recommend Juicy Couture Viva la juicy as I have this as well, and it's gorgeous.

I hope you guys found this post helpful if you were wondering about this perfume or trying to find a new scent :) have
a great day or night and I'll see you guys soon!!

Love you all,

L'oreal Paris nail polishes⭐

Hey everyone!! Hope your having a great day. Today I went into town to get a present for my sister and scored some pressies for myself to!!!

I got three L'oreal Paris nail polishes, they were on a special where if u buy 1 you get 1 half price and I picked up one for $4.99 on special from $9.99 :) all together was $20. I love the colours !!!

The peachy/pink was is number 208
The black one is number 702
The nude one is number 116

I've decided getting the smaller size is alot better because nail polishes after away so all sticky and messy and I can't really keep mine in the fridge like some people do to stop the nail polishes going yucky.

The colours are very strong, like you don't have to re apply like other brands.
The nail polish doesn't set straight away so u have time to fix up the nail and colour the whole thing in.
There very small so not taking up space!!
Perfect colours for any time of year :)

One thing I dislike are the brushes, there quite big. Or it might just be my nails but yeah other then that there great.

Here is the black #702. Applied twice just because I'm used to applying twice but didn't actually have to. Although I do like how it's gone darker.
~ excuse the bad paint job :)

I hope you enjoyed this wee review, have a great weekend guys!!!!

Love you all,
Bridgette xx

Small Beauty haul ♥

Hello beautiful people,
I thought I would do a quick post on recent beauty items that I have purchased (:
I'll add in links to websites where you can purchase these things from.

So I have heard good comments about this product and I really do need to try fix my hair. All through high school I straightened my hair - the worst years were my first 3 years there. I got up super early and straightened my hair every morning - I have a two layered cut and the first layer has a wave and I disliked it sooo much. After years of rocking the short hair-do I missed my long hair and grew it out. My hair now has really bad split ends, is sooo dry and is so hard to brush from coming out of the shower to brushing it whenever. So I knew I had to try fix it, so I purchased this. I hope it works! I'll do a updated review once I've nearly finished the treatment.

I ran out of my Elf brow gel and thought I would give something else a go. Getting discount from stores via Unidays I sometimes shop from ASOS and this little beauty came up and beside the picture it said it had won some beauty awards thing in 2013 so I though I would give it ago and I love it! I first used it today and I didn't even fill in my eyebrows and it still looked good. The price was a bit dare but its a great product - can't wait to use it more.

I got this for $10 NZD!!! It was on special at The Wharehouse and I just had to. I haven't tried it yet, but I have heard some good things about this brand. I have other self tanners to compare it to so I'm looking forward to trying this one out.

Before I started taking extra care with my hair I was washing it every day. When I was younger I washed it twice a day, this is because my hair is naturally very oily and washing it every day got rid of all the oils so it didn't look like I had a oily scalp. Now I try wash my hair every second to third day - Until I found this little beauty! Now I can go three to four days without shampooing my hair (you can go longer, just haven't tried to yet) All you have to do is spray into your hair roots and massage through. Its perfect if you are in a hurry, camping or just can't be bothered lol. I'm so glad I found this product. Even better it was $7.99 NZD!

I have also heard great things about this product and I got it on special as well, so I thought why not. I'll do a review on this haircare product as well when I have nearly finished it.

I already have one of these but It was too small and I prefer the bigger buns, so I got this from Equip (: I love this sizing.
P.s its on special atm!!

I brought this to go along with my hair bun - perfect combination. I Haven't worn it yet but can't wait to wear in in summer (:
P.s its on special atm!!

I brought this because I felt that all my other highlighters weren't coming up on top of my make up so I purchased this in hope that it works...and it does! Its so pigmented and having two different colours is great. I recommend getting, I love the shimmer it has on my checks (:

My new favourite mascara and it smells like a garden!! Its really light weighted and makes my lashes soooo long. I paid around $26NZD for this, so I jumped at the offer. I highly recommend this product :D

I hope you enjoyed this little haul/review thingy lol. I havnt posted anything in awhile because it is the end of year for uni lectures which means exams start soon !! My first exam is next week which is sooo scary, so I have been buzy studying etc. But I'll try post whenever I can (:
I hope you guys have a great day and I'll see you again shortly!!

Love you all,
Bridgette xx

P.s little disclaimer- these are all my own opinions,
I have purchased everything myself and I'm not being
paid to say these things.

Favourite pieces from The Iconic right now ♥

Well hello everybody! I hope you are enjoying your day. I wanted to post up another favourites/review on a online shopping website. I have a few reviews coming up on haircare but I wanted to use the products up so I can do a decent review. I also purchased a few things from Lush and will do a review when I get a few more bits and bobs.

The Iconic is a Australian online shopping website that I found through Unidays, which is a website where students can get discounts at various online shopping websites. You get (if your a student) 15% off at The Iconic, which is pretty decent. Especially when The Iconic has some really cool stuff!
- both for men and women and kids
- has a sale on all the time
- includes sports, surf/skate, beauty, accessories and then fashion items.
- has awesome brands like: All about eve, Bonds, Cameo, Diesel, Fate, Finders keepers, Guess, Kardashian Kollection, Keepsake the label, Ladakh, Levis, Motel, O'Neil, Obey, Rip Curl, Sass, Stylestalker, Under Armour, Volcom, and Wrangler.

These are only some of many of the brands they have. I honestly had to mention all those cool brands lol. - sorry for the long list guys!

They also have Karen Walker jewellery and Butter London beauty items.

These products are also pretty decent prices compared to prices in New Zealand (even when you convert from AUD to NZD). The shipping is free over $50 AUD, and the shipping is incredibly fast to Australia and New Zealand from my experience (NZ). The Iconic always has sales on as well - as well as there sale that's on all the time. The only disappointing thing is that they don't ship there perfumes out of Australia which is a shame because there so cheap compared to how much perfume is here in NZ. But it is fair because I know that customs is pretty tight with what can come in and out of countries. Another cool thing is that a few days ago they finally came out with app from the app store. Don't know if they have one for other phones, but its most likely they'll bring out something soon.

I just wanted to mention a few of my favourite things on their website at this moment, and I really want to get !!

Brand: Finders Keepers
Price: $119.95 AUD
This playsuit is perfect for both winter and summer seasons, great for going out clubbing, on a date, for drinks or even going shopping. A pair of flats or high heels with this playsuit works great either way. Keeping the colours to black, nudes then adding a pop of colour with lipstick or a piece of jewellery.
Here's some information from the website: "Playsuit with split sleeve detail. The Finders Keepers Buckets of Rain Playsuit features a low v-neckline with wrap-around detail, a long-sleeved design with split details from the shoulder to the wrist and a cut-out panel on the waist. The Finders Keepers Buckets of Rain Playsuit has a relaxed fit."

Brand: Morgan & Taylor
Price: $39.95 AUD
Now you may be thinking what a strange thing to want right now, but at the end of the year I love going to the horse races, and it always happens...I end up leaving it to last minute and all that is left are the fascinators that are like $100. Which is not ideal. I love the colour, how its a headband (don't like the clip in ones), the headband fascinators are more likely to stay on top of your head and wont pull on your hair like clip fascinators do. This would also be great for weddings and the price is pretty reasonable. Here's some information from the website: "Pill-box fascinator. The Morgan & Taylor The Isabella Headband Fascinator has a toothed headband, and a pill-box like construction with a sheer overlay and a bow embellishment. The classic fascinator has feather embellishments and sits off centre on the head.
Measurements: H20cm x W20cm."

Brand: O'Neil
Price: $79.99
So you may be able to tell that I'm quite liking playsuits at the moment and the colour white for that matter. I really like the ruffles and the V shape on the chest. Its stretchy in the middle and has pockets! Very practical. This playsuit is more for a summery season, the design is very cute as well. The price is okay, but I only would purchase with my discount. Just because the NZD is high and so would be like $90 NZD. Here's some information of the website: Sleeveless, floral playsuit. The O'Neill Blue Bell "Playsuit has a low, v-shaped neckline and a cross-over bodice with a ruffle trim. Cut from a lightweight fabrication, the fun playsuit has thin shoulder straps, an elasticised waistband and a beautiful blue, floral pattern. Length: 75cm. Our model is wearing a size 10 playsuit, she is a size AU6/AU8, and is 5'7" (173cm) tall."

Brand: Rusty
Price: $40.00 AUD (Sale)
This dress is perfect for Winter and summer seasons. You can wear with tights and boots or flat shoes in the winter, or in the summer with sandals and just a cute little satchel. Here is some information from the website: Striped long sleeved dress. "The Rusty Ticking Dress has a scooped neckline, long fitted sleeves and a striped pattern all-over. The dress features a zip fastening on the back, panelled detail on the sides and a cotton blend fabrication. The Rusty Ticking Dress has a knit construction and falls to the mid-thigh. Length: 85cm."

Brand: Karen Murrell
Price: $56.95 AUD
I love these colours! Red and orange - great for all seasons. I really do like the orange colour, and together they are $56.95 I think that is a great price. Here is some information from the website: "Lipstick twin pack. The Karen Murrell Red Shimmer And Coral Dawn pack contains two long lasting, creamy lipsticks. The lipsticks have been made with a hydrating blend of Candelilla, Evening Primrose Oil and Canola Oil, and are free from parabens and preservatives."

Brand: Karen Walker
Price: $139.00 AUD
Daises are in fashion right now since we are coming in to summer (speaking about NZ and AUS). Karen Walker had fabulous jewellery and it is expensive but very worth it. With the discount at the Iconic its worth it even more if you are a student or they have there usual sales on. Earrings are a good thing to purchase online if it is cheaper than in-store because you don't have to worry about sizing etc. These get a big thumbs up from me (: here is some extra information about the earrings: "Delicate, sterling silver studs. The Karen Walker Daisy Diamond Studs has an adorable daisy flower design with a featured diamond centre. Made from a beautiful sterling silver, the earrings have post stud closures, and come in a Karen Walker branded jewellery box. Measurements: 0.5cm. "

Brand: At By Atmos & Here
Price $17.95 AUD
Isn't the price great? lol, this top is puuuurfect for summer, with shorts plain or has a design on them. Mixing designs is fashion right now. This top is also great for winter, with black jeans/pants just like what the model is wearing in the picture. I recommend this top to anyone that is in any season! Here is some extra information about this top: Sleeveless crop top. "The AT by Atmos&Here Orion's Belt Crop Top boasts a scoop neckline, sleeveless design and a relaxed fit. The top features a soft cotton composition and falls to high hip."

Brand: Spurr
Price: $39.95
I love this detail, and the tan colour with the red/orange pop of colour. Great colours for summer! The detail with the buckles is also a great added feature, they do look like sandals but just with block heels - which block heels are very fashionable right now. You can wear these to anything from shopping to going out. I just love these! I do suggest you go check out this brand because they have amazing shoes right not, amazing colours as well..you wont regret it!!.  Heres some information from the website: "Strappy, block heel sandals. The Spurr Fi Block Heel Sandals feature an open toe design, a textured leather-look upper and a contrast strap across the toe. The modern sandals boast a sling-back style and twin straps around the ankle with adjustable buckle fastenings. The Spurr Fi Block Heel Sandals have a comfortable cushioned insole and a 6.5cm block heel."

Thank you to everyone who read this review, I hope you found it
very useful if you were struggling to find a good online shopping
website. I really do recommend that you check out Spurr's range of
shoes that they have at the moment, they have shoes from black,
white to tan colours and they are so amazing, also seeing a lot of block
heels. This website is great and the shipping makes it even better if you
are in a rush for an event or something. Let me know in the comments
if you do purchase something and let me know what you think of the item
(: Thanks again, have a great day!!

Love you all,
Bridgette xx

P.s little disclaimer- these are all my own opinions,
I'm not being paid to say these things or do a review.

Ecoya Candles and Diffuser Haul/Review

Hello everybody!

Today I thought I would give a review on the brand Ecoya and their candles and diffuser. About a month ago I went a little crazy and purchased these three products from Ecoya. I purchased them in different places because they were on special. Although they are still a bit of a stretch even when they are on special I thought that I would give a review on them to anyone who is struggling to justify the price to buy these items.  I just want to say that everyone will have a different opinion on what is a higher cost and what is a lower cost but for me personally these were expensive. Because I did purchase these myself and and they were expensive I only brought the Vanilla Bean scent as that is my favourite but if you do want to smell the rest of the range ill put down some websites where these are sold just incase the store is near where you live so you can go see Ecoya's range for yourself (:

Heres some information that makes Ecoya different from other brands..
~ "Our candles are derived from sustainable soybean and palm oil plantations. We do not use paraffin wax hence our candles do not contain the harmful chemicals associated with the use of paraffin. ECOYA soy candles burn cooler and last a third longer than a comparable paraffin wax candle.

Our hypoallergenic body care products are derived from botanical bases such as almond and macadamia oil. Free from parabens, propylene glycol, silicone and artificial colours, they are designed to be safe on all skin types." - Ecoya

The Vanilla Bean products are contained with "a velvety and rich, full-bodied vanilla bean extract...deliciously wrapped in creamy tones of butterscotch to create a rich, indulgent and luxurious fragrance" - Ecoya
If you would like to know more in depth information, click this link (: Ecoya

Here are the three items that I purchased (sorry if photo bad quality)

~ Ecoya Everyday Tin Candle - Vanilla Bean

This everyday candle can light up to 30 hours and is 170 grams. On the Ecoya website it says "[Ecoya Everyday Tin Candles are] Natural soy wax candles, encased in tin for everyday use."You can also purchase this candle in: Lemongrass & Ginger, Lotus Flower, French Pear, Wild Frangipani and Sweet Pea & Jasmine. This was my first purchase. It literally took me about two months to decide whether to buy these products, until i found this one, 20% off at Red current the original price is $34.95 NZD but i purchased this for around $28.00. Even still I was a little nervous but afterwards i was so happy! For about four weeks i would have it on my bedside cabinet then move it to my desk when i went to study. The smell is amazing! It made my room smell like vanilla. The smell isn't strong when you put it under your nose but it still managers to linger around your room - absolute heaven. I haven't lit the candle yet, and I don't think anytime soon I will. The candle does come with a lid, although i decided not to put that in the photo. I never keep the lid on the candle. Why would you want to cover up such an amazing scent? The lids although are handy to shift round if you are moving or going on holiday. Overall a candle that smells incredibly good that hasn't lost its scent and hopefully doesn't, is worth $28 in my eyes (:

~Ecoya Metro Jar Candle Vanilla Bean

As described on the Ecoya website it says "[The Vanilla Bean candle is]Pure, natural soy wax hand poured into a contemporary sand, soda ash and lime glass jar."The size is 260g and burning time 50 hours (according to the Ecoya website). You can also purchase this candle in Lemongrass & Ginger, Lotus Flower, French Pear, Wild Frangipani and Sweet Pea & Jasmine. All amazing scents as well. This was my second purchase, this came about two months after my first purchase because no store had any sales on. Until when I went home for mid-term break the one time i decide to go to town there was a one day sale on!! Fate? maybe. I brought this from H&J Smith and it was 15% off the original price $49.95 NZD, so I was like yeeeesss!!!! The smell justified the price once again. I now have one on either sides of my room. The two candles just as elegant as another, the perfect vanilla bean scent. The Candle does look a little roughed up, I do apologise.. from moving it round the room and smelling it most the time I have knocked it about a bit. I would highly recommend this candle, you don't even need to light it. If you are a big vanilla bean scent lover, you will love this candle, just like i do.

~ Ecoya Rooms Diffusers Vanilla Bean

This diffuser as I have heard it is to last for over a year, and on the Ecoya website it says "Designed for long lasting, passive scenting of small to medium architectural spaces." The size is 200 ml so is a descent size and I'm taking note of how long it will last. This diffuser also comes in Lemongrass & Ginger, Lotus Flower, French Pear, Wild Frangipani, Sweet Pea & Jasmine. Which I have all smelt and are just as amazing as the Vanilla Bean.  Now, this was my last purchase, and I had to think a few minutes about this one. (Literally starring at it for like 10 minutes) Again I brought this at H&J Smith and it was 15% off $69.95 NZD. I hope you realise now why i was standing starring at this object for 10 minutes. Even with the discount I was still a little nervous about purchasing. Mainly part of the reason I still haven't used it..Next year when I flatting I will use this, (lets face it, student flats don't always smell like flowers and yummy perfume). Because of the price I'm saving it for when i will really need it, but I'm sure if it smells anything like the candles it'll be just perfect.
